from an on-going project that focuses on the repetition of form and variety within that restriction. slowly and meditatively making my way through about 600 of these scallop shells that were gifted to me. i am finding that this project is less about a precise catalogue than it is about watching the repetitive form deconstruct my expectations of it. two shells held side by side may look near identical, but taken on as individuals apart from the others, each asserts a slightly varied impression on my page.
